Bifrost LSD’s are Coming to Moonbeam!

We’re excited to announce a collaboration with Bifrost, the gateway to cross-chain liquid staking on Polkadot. With support for seven bluechips that include DOT, KSM, GLMR & ETH, Bifrost is now the largest LSD protocol on Polkadot with a cumulative TVL of over $37M!

What is Bifrost?

Bifrost is a modular, scalable, non-custodial omni-chain LSD parachain based on Polkadot. It provides standardized, high-yield, safe, and reliable underlying interest-bearing assets for Web3 through XCM, and is realizing the omni-chain vision of using any LSD on any chain.

Bifrost’s vToken (Staking Derivatives Voucher Token) allows users to convert PoS tokens to vToken, facilitating the acquisition of staking liquidity and rewards synchronously, without barriers in cross-chain scenarios.

What are vTokens?

vTokens are yield-bearing assets based on a cross-chain infrastructure with auto-compounded staking rewards and represent staked tokens in PoS blockchains. By issuing vTokens for staked assets, the liquidity of these tokens can be retained. vToken minting can be performed on both the original and Bifrost chains, and circulates across multiple chains.
