Guide to Voting on StellaSwap’s Ecosystem Grant Proposal

We’re excited to be the first protocol to have put forth a detailed plan for kickstarting the growth of Moonbeam Network! In collaboration with several top protocols on Moonbeam such as Moonwell and Lido, our ecosystem proposal is now live for community voting here: https://moonbeam.polkassembly.network/referendum/64

Community governance is a vital pillar of the network and everyone has a part to play towards the success of Moonbeam. We encourage the community to vote on our proposal so that you can make your voices heard!

Step-by-Step Guide to Voting on Polkassembly

Before anything, you’d need to have GLMR, which is Moonbeam’s native token, on your wallet. If you do not have GLMR, here’s how you can get it;

Buy GLMR with any tokens on StellaSwap > https://app.stellaswap.com/exchange/swap
Buy GLMR with your debit / credit card via StellaSwap’s “Buy GLMR” button 👇

Once you have some GLMR, you can start voting! Here’s a GIF if you prefer a visual way to understand the voting process:

Step 1: Sign Up or Sign in to PolkaAssembly

If you already have an account simply sign in, otherwise click Sign-up on the top right corner in https://moonbeam.polkassembly.io/

Signing up with Web3 address is the easier so click on it and choose your wallet to connect to platform. Follow the wallet prompts to connect account and that’s it your account is created.

Once you see your wallet in the top right corner; you are logged in.

Step 2: Vote on Referenda

Head to Referenda under Democracy and find StellaSwap’s ecosystem grant proposal #64 or simply follow this link

On the right side of the page you can see the voting section

Choose the amount of tokens you want to vote with. You can also lock your tokens for up to 6X the voting power. Click Aye or Nay to vote and sign the wallet signature prompt.

You Have Done it!

That’s it you have successfully contributed to the governance of Moonbeam and benefited the ecosystem, you can view your vote and follow the proposal voting in detail on Subscan.
